Closed eaves with suitable ventilation
Hidden area inspected
We check behind failed panels before fitting the new soffit finish.
Airflow considered
We assess whether standard or ventilated uPVC panels are suitable.
Gaps closed neatly
We fit accurate panels that protect the underside of the roof edge.

Protect the hidden underside of your eaves
Soffits close the underside of the roof overhang and help protect the concealed eaves area. Broken panels, gaps and staining can let in moisture or provide openings for pests. Poor airflow at the eaves may also add to condensation problems within the roof space. We inspect the visible soffit and consider the ventilation arrangement before defining the replacement. Our soffit replacement uses uPVC in standard or ventilated configurations. The right choice depends on the existing roof build-up and its airflow needs, not simply which panel looks tidiest from below.
Maintain airflow while closing unwanted gaps
We remove failed material carefully and inspect the concealed eaves area for defects that need attention. New panels are measured and fitted accurately between the fascia and wall line, with joins and edges properly supported. Where the roof needs eaves ventilation, we use a suitable ventilated arrangement and avoid blocking the intended airflow. Soffit work can be coordinated with fascia or gutter renewal if adjoining parts are also worn. We explain which elements need replacement so you do not end up renewing a sound section simply because it happens to live next to a damaged one.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my soffits need ventilation?
The answer depends on the roof build-up and existing airflow arrangements. We inspect the eaves and roof-space needs before recommending standard or ventilated soffit panels.
Can damaged soffits allow pests into the roof?
Yes. Gaps, broken panels and poorly finished edges can create possible entry points. We check the affected section and fit replacement material accurately to close unwanted openings.
What can cause staining on a soffit?
Staining may come from gutter overflow, roof-edge leaks, condensation or deterioration behind the panel. We inspect connected areas so the likely moisture source is addressed before or during replacement.
